Saturday at St Mark’s School

Taking this year’s Festival theme of the 1960s, St Mark’s School have organised an art competition for all pupils in the Valley Schools to explore this era through art and create their own unique version of Sixties inspired artwork.

On Saturday 29th April between 11 am – 3 pm, head to the main hall at St Mark’s School where there will be a range of free art and crafts workshops for children,  including making hats for the parade.  Resources and entry forms are available to download from the schools website:

This year will also feature a fab 1960’s theme Vintage Cafe open from 11 am -3 pm selling a range of hot and cold drinks, homemade cakes and filled rolls etc.
