Warm Wind Wafts into Larkhall from the Med

Alexandra Vogdopoulou, Founder of Alex’s Greek Cooking & Wellbeing
”Creating food for the mind, body and soul” is going to be cooking up a stupendously delicious menu to ensure Larkhallians have one ‘Hellas’ of time dancing in joy like Zorba the Greek and Merlina Mercouri. They said ‘Never on a Sunday!’ but Alex is here to break all the rules.

Alex’s Hot Dish Number One: GYROS

Hot pork gyros wrapped up on a home made Alex’a pita bread is marinated for minimum of 2 days with lovely aromas and then slowly cooked to maintain the necessary juices. Veggie option of gyros for veggie/vegan

Alex’s Hot Dish Number Two: The 3Gs:GREEN GREEK & GORGEOUS

Spinach pasty in Alex’s SPANAKOPITA will be there to dip deep over home made tzatziki and spicy tirocafteri, two different dips

Dipping is part of Greek food culture, so Alex would love to get many people relax and doing this and mimicking the Mediterranean people! This is what she does for my cookery classes & supper clubs and people seem to be enjoying this greatly!

Desserts à la grecque
