Emma is an abstract artist based locally in Larkhall. Emma is interested in form, tension, overlaps and the space in-between things. Her primarily medium, acrylic on anodised aluminium plates, sets the stage for a captivating visual experience. Emma’s technique involves a meticulous process where paint is generously and then carefully manoeuvred, resulting in stunning organic compositions of colour and form. This method creates mesmerising colour harmonies and amorphous shapes placed in perfect tension.
