New Oriel Hall Group Exhibition

Richard has been exhibiting since the 1990s and especially enjoys working from images he has photographed in the intense light of the med and Sierra Leone.

Recently his work has become abstract, its inspiration ranging from seascapes, intricate fishermans’ nets and convoluted tree roots to nebulae and deep space.

He mostly works in acrylic and pastel and is currently painting scenes of Ilminster, Somerset around Herne Hill.

This site will change in coming months owing to an extensive building programme for the residents of this pretty market town in Somerset. Richard has captured Herne Hill as it was when he and his brother were children.

Richard ran Bath fringe art fair for many years and LOS before covid shutdown.

He has exhibited at Green Park, Bath, 44AD Bath, San Francisco, Tokni, Cyprus and Freetown Sierra Leone.
